I put some bucket seats out of a early '90's model chevy truck in the '70 westy I use to have. Talk about making it nice to ride it. Wink

Make sure whatever seats you use that they are not too high in squab.

Honds/Rover 75 seem OK but I prefer to have original done

These were Holden but too high

This guy used Hyundai Excel seats.
Ive also heard that early 90's Late 80's Prelude seats fit well.

BeetleWarrior, Those chevy seats look awesome. Thats the style seat I want.

Well i have fitted the left hand seat, now cant fit the seat belts as there is no room for the retractor thingy. Dont know what they were out of either. Probably some crap car. Have got pix of the hyundi one also the crappy one that i took out. It was held in by 2 8gauge screw and nuts, as well as some sorta catch on back of seat. Will attempt the driver side another day. I went and brought 2 new front seat belt assy, not retractor though. 200 bucks worth. Smile Will fit one set tomorrow.

dont know what i did, but got the photobucket to work as used to before. Very comfy seat this one, hope my side is the same. lol! Seats were cheaper than the belts.
